Pastor Luis Hernandez was born in Antigua, Guatemala. It was at the age of 12 that God brought about an overwhelming sense of His holiness and glory to his life. The Lord, by His sovereign grace, opened his eyes to realize that he was a sinner and in desperate need of a Savior (Romans 3:21-26). It was at that moment that his life was transformed by the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. To Luis, Christ is his everything, his righteousness, his Redeemer, and his sanctification through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Luis graduated with a degree in Theology at the Guatemalan Biblical Seminary in 2014. He also holds a certificate in Christian Ministry from Church Answers University and is currently completing his Master of Arts in Theological Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Luis enjoys music, which is another way for him to worship God. The desire of his heart is to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of repentance to the Hispanic community. His hope is to cultivate a deep devotion for the Word of God and to celebrate in the worship of God.

Luis has been married to his beloved wife Andrea for 6 years. God has blessed them with a beautiful 3-year-old daughter Adaline, and another child on the way. As a family, they love to worship God and spend time together. They also enjoy traveling to Guatemala to visit family and to do mission work. One of their favorite verses is Joshua 24:15, which says "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

El Pastor Luis Hernández nació en Antigua, Guatemala. Fue a la edad de 12 años que Dios le trajo un abrumador sentido de Su santidad y gloria a su vida. El Señor, por Su gracia soberana, le abrió los ojos para darse cuenta de que era un pecador y que necesitaba desesperadamente un Salvador (Romanos 3:21-26). Fue en ese momento que su vida fue transformada por el glorioso Evangelio de Jesucristo. Para Luis, Cristo es todo para él, su justicia, su Redentor y su santificación a través de la obra del Espíritu Santo.

Luis se graduó con un título en Teología en el Seminario Bíblico Guatemalteco en 2014. También tiene un certificado en Ministerio Cristiano de la Universidad Church Answers y actualmente está completando su Maestría en Estudios Teológicos en el Seminario Teológico Bautista del Sur. A Luis le gusta la música, que es otra forma de adorar a Dios. El deseo de su corazón es glorificar a Dios proclamando el Evangelio del arrepentimiento a la comunidad hispana. Su esperanza es cultivar una profunda devoción por la Palabra de Dios y celebrarlo en la adoración de Dios.

Luis ha estado casado con su amada esposa Andrea durante 6 años. Dios les ha bendecido con una hermosa hija de 3 años llamada Adaline, y otro hijo en camino. Como familia, les encanta adorar a Dios y pasar tiempo juntos. También disfrutan viajando a Guatemala para visitar a la familia y hacer trabajo misionero. Uno de sus versículos favoritos es Josué 24:15, que dice: "Pero en cuanto a mí y a mi casa, serviremos al Señor".
