Each winter our high schooler's get excited for our winter retreat called...Winterfest. Our winter retreat takes place at Silver Birch Ranch in White Lake, WI. This is a special and different weekend in that we join with three other youth groups. Two come from Illinois (Bethel Community Church & Grace Point) and one comes from Wisconsin (Kettlebrook). We as youth pastors come together to prepare, plan and run every part of the weekend. Some of the fun things planned for the weekend include tubing, power tubing (being pulled on a frozen lake by a snowmobile while you hang on for dear life), cross country sking, ice skating, broomball tournment & once again...endless coffee or hot chocolate.
This year's theme is One. We will be studying Ephesians 4:1-6 and looking at several other passages that speak to the oneness we have in Christ and with one another.
