What: Experience a weekend away focused on God through Scripture and full of fun and laughter including Snow Tubing, a Climbing Wall, Giant Swing, Dodgeball, the Snack Shop, and More!
Where: Lake Geneva Youth Camp in Lake Geneva, WI.

Spiritual Emphasis: This year’s theme is “Ambassadors.” Every man, woman, and child begins as an enemy of God, in need of reconciliation to Him through Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:10-11). Followers of Jesus have been given the job title of “ambassadors” as they represent Christ and His gospel of reconciliation to a world in need of hope. We will focus in on 2 Corinthians 5:20 as we bring this message to the students.
Drop Off and Pick Up: Arrive at the Loft at Maywood by 5:00 PM, Friday, January 9th (we will NOT be stopping for dinner, so be sure to have your child eat before coming or join us at 4:30pm at church for pizza. If your child will be joining us for pizza, please contact Pastor Tony or Pastor Ryan by the night before our departure on Thursday. We will return to the Loft around 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 11th. Parents/Guardians will be notified if these times change significantly.
Things to Bring:
- A Weekend’s Worth of Clothing (including a winter coat, snow pants, winter boots, extra socks, extra changes of clothes from getting wet, and athletic shoes).
- Bible
- Towel and Toiletries
- Pillow and Sleeping Bag
- Money for Snack Shop -optional (We suggest $15; more can be brought for souvenirs if desired) All money MUST be turned in at Drop-Off at Maywood on Friday, January 9th to be put into the student’s account for the weekend.
Things NOT to Bring – They WILL Be Confiscated:
- Cell Phones
- Devices with Internet Access
- Energy Drinks
- Knives/Weapons
- Alcohol or Drugs
Note on Medication: If your child will be taking prescription or non-prescription medication, a Dispensing of Medication Form MUST be filled out when signing up. https://www.mefc.us/medication Medication MUST be given to approved Maywood Retreat Leaders in its ORIGINAL packaging during check-in prior to leaving Maywood on Friday, January 9th. Campers cannot leave any medicine in the cabins for the safety of all.
