Women's Ministry

Purpose: to nurture women so they:

KNOW... Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior

GROW... in the knowledge of God and in the Fruit of the Spirit

SOW... the truth of the Gospel in Christian service so Christians may be encouraged and others may come to know the Savior.

MOM 2 MOM is a Christ-centered ministry for expectant mothers and mothers with at least one child in gradeschool. It provides a place to make new friends, share experiences, laugh and express creativity. Speakers share biblical truths as well as practical ways to fulfill the roles of mother, wife and woman. MOM 2 MOM gives moms the chance to know that they are not alone in the daily struggles and joys of raising young children.

- KIDZONE is a quality children’s program where little ones are taught, loved and cared for. It is a constructive, organized program that includes crafts, Bible stories, a snack, video time and play time in the gym.

Other activities year round include the Christmas Tea, Spring Brunch, Women's Retreat, Bible and book studies, Prayer Breakfast and outreach activities such as the cookie bake for Rockford Rescue Mission women. The Mission Branch of Women's Ministries is involved in the Network of Nations which ministers to international students.
