At Epicenter, we have a 4-fold focus that guides why we do what we do.
To Glorify
Revelation 4:1-11, Colossians 4:16-17
It’s what we were made to do. Through the singing of songs, learning of the Word, loving each other, and serving like Christ, our goal is to continually give glory to God as an act of worship to Him. Worship matters here.
To Grow
John 15:1-17, 2 Timothy 4:1-8
It’s all about Jesus. Our desire is to continually learn about Christ from the Holy Scriptures through the leading of the Holy Spirit. We want to be transformed by the Word of God so that we can become like Jesus. We also desire that those who do not know Him will come to salvation in Him.
To Gather
John 13:34-35, Hebrews 10:25
Relationships matter here. We believe the life of a Christian is a life of love for God and our neighbor. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that all students are encouraged, accepted, and loved. Our passion is to reach out and bring students to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and also to minister to those who seek to belong with other believers. We are more than a group; we are a family.
To Give
John 4:34-38, Ephesians 2:10
Christians are called to serve. Not only will students be built up through their relationships and the Word of God, but they will be able to take what they have learned and together give back through acts of service. Just as Christ said “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
