At Maywood, Children's Ministry is all about Jesus - in line with our church-wide vision statement of "Becoming a People Who Reach People for Christ." Knowing that 80% of Christians come to know Christ as Savior by the age of 13, it is our desire at Maywood to plant the seed of Christ into the tender hearts of children in a safe and age-appropriate environment. Everything is designed to aid you as parents or guaridans in showing your children the centrality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all of Scripture and life. We seek to help you to disciple your kids in a relationship with Jesus Christ evidenced by true heart change.

In additon to having our Sunday classes for kids at both the 8:30am and 10:15am services, we also believe children are an integral part of the body of Christ and should be fully incorporated into it. One of the ways we do this is through "Family Worship Sunday" on the first Sunday of each month. While kids are always welcome and encouraged to be in our Worship Services, we have set aside a special week each month where we take a break from classes for kids 1st Grade and older so that they are worshipping and growing in their love for Christ right alongside the rest of the congregation.
