Children General

Our fourth and fifth graders are making that all-important transition to their teenage years as well as future involvement in youth activities. In creating a program specifically for them, we hope to partner with parents in guiding these students in their spiritual and personal growth in Christ. Special events are held every other month for this group. Please check the Kid's Announcements page to stay up to date on this exciting ministry!

Camp 2017

June 5th - 9th

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light"  Ephesians 5:8  NIV

Our focus this year is on living in the light of the Lord. In a dark world full of sin, it can be difficult to live for Christ, but God's Word demands us to shine for Him. We will be looking at this theme of light vs. darkness in the Bible, as students are challenged with topics of righteous living, sharing their faith, and doing battle against the evil one- Satan!

As always, our ultimate goal is to challenge and lead all students who attend into a deeper relationship with Christ.  Whether this means introducing them to Jesus for the first time or helping them mature in their faith.   Our staff is excited to be a part of God at work in your child's life during this year's week of Summer Camp!

At Maywood, Kid's Ministry is about Family Ministry! Knowing that 80% of Christians come to know Christ as Savior by the age of 13, it is our desire at Maywood to plant the seed of Christ into the tender hearts of children. The various programs and activities are designed to share the Gospel of Christ, to disciple and encourage children to become involved in service, and to begin to reach their peers for Jesus Christ. Kid's Ministries also seeks to aid parents and families in fulfilling their responsibility as God's primary resource for reaching and discipling children.

We often celebrate our kid’s ministries by placing photos of events after they take place.  We never attach a name to a face.  Although many enjoy seeing their faces we understand that some would rather refrain from their photo being displayed.  Please contact Pastor Ben (This email address is being protected from spambots.
